What does BuildrLab specialise in?
BuildrLab specialises in generative AI, RAG, web development, Shopify ecommerce, AWS cloud infrastructure and DevOps. We also modernise applications and carry out cloud cost reviews.
What do we get from an AI discovery engagement?
A prioritised use case, assessment of data readiness, an architecture outline and an indicative delivery estimate with assumptions. We agree the scope and deliverables before the engagement starts.
What is included in a RAG pilot?
A defined document collection, a search interface with source evidence, an evaluation report and source-code handover. Document limits, permissions, hosting, model costs and acceptance criteria are agreed before quoting. Generated answers and integrations are scoped explicitly.
Can you improve an existing application or cloud environment?
Yes. We can assess the current system, prioritise changes and implement them. Work can include new features, modernisation, AWS migration, CI/CD, observability and a cost optimisation review. Savings are measured, not promised in advance.
How does fractional engineering work?
We agree weekly capacity, time-zone overlap, responsibilities and budget around your project. Delivery runs from a prioritised backlog, with weekly demonstrations and short updates on decisions, risks and next steps.
Can you work with US businesses and private data?
Yes. BuildrLab works remotely from Ireland, with US overlap agreed per engagement. We assess data permissions, hosting and model-provider choices during discovery, including local inference where appropriate. Security and contractual requirements are agreed before accessing sensitive data.
Are your tutorials and demos client deployments?
No. The RAG Field Guide, MarketingOS and Support Triage Lab are clearly labelled independent projects with synthetic data and documented limitations. BuildrFlags is a live BuildrLab product; Country Music Tours is a live client website.
